Executive Director
New Mexico Public Health Association
NMPHA is seeking to hire a full-time Executive Director to lead our organization in mission-driven collaboration, communication, fundraising, professional development and advocacy. NMPHA is currently an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. This position will launch NMPHA into a new stage of development with this position offering leadership and support in collaboration with an active, committed Board.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Director (ED) will work closely with the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors to leverage existing partnerships, build new relationships, and amplify the voices of health equity advocates in diverse community settings throughout New Mexico.

The ED will oversee ongoing strategic planning efforts, day-to-day operations, internal and external communication plans, and membership growth and engagement strategies.
The ED will supervise contractors and volunteers currently engaged in collaborative vaccine equity advocacy/outreach, communications, and conference planning and implementation, and will supervise additional personnel as they join the organization. The ED will work with the Board of Directors to finalize contractor/consultant roles and additional position descriptions as the organization

Human Resources Director
La Familia Medical Center
La Familia Medical Center (LFMC), the largest primary care group in Santa Fe, is seeking an experienced health care human resources professional to lead the Human Resources Department. LFMC has served the Santa Fe community for nearly 50 years and currently operates out of four permanent service sites, providing comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to over 18,000 patients per year.

The Human Resources Department manages the full range of human resources functions for approximately 180 staff members. The HR Director is responsible for implementation and maintenance of all human resources programs and associated policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and required reports and filings.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a healthcare or business-related discipline
- Ten years management-level experience in a human resources capacity; experience at the Human Resources Director level a plus
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Successful history of program implementation, problem-solving, and collaborative management
- SHRM-CP OR SHRM-SCP Certification preferred

Medical Case Manager
La Familia Medical Center
The Medical Case Manager works independently to provide long term coordination of care and services to patients in order to assist them to overcome the problems and needs associated with medical conditions, including addressing barriers to healthcare access.

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and two years of experience in a related field, required. In lieu of a degree, the incumbent must possess sufficient prior work experience in progressively more responsible positions during which the skills and abilities to perform all the essential functions have been amply demonstrated at a consistently competent level.

Counselor/Social Worker

The Counselor/Social Worker, as part of La Familia Medical Center’s (LFMC) primary care treatment team, identifies, triages and manages patients with behavioral health problems within the primary care setting. In addition, the Counselor/Social Worker will provide skill training through psycho-education and patient education strategies and will develop specific behavioral change plans for patient’s behavioral health protocols for target populations.
