Software Developer

You will be a core member of our R&D team furthering ambitious VTScada product development plans. Duties will include providing input into product direction, designing new features, programming in VTScada script, C++, JavaScript & HTML5, debugging, testing and anything else necessary to create clearly the best product on the planet. On occasion, your talents may be directed toward assisting in applying the software to some of the more challenging customer applications. There are no fluffy web pages or boring database projects here.

Technical Support & IT Support

You will be a core member of our world-renowned primary technical support group. Your duties will include phone and email support and recording customer interactions. This will entail all aspects of delivering the best solution, from diagnosing the problem through executing the solution to following up with the customer. Additionally, you will provide IT support for both internal software and hardware used in our head office.

Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer

- Create relationships with clients in the Orlando or Tampa, Florida area and act as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams
- Manage and coordinate marketing, planning, design and construction phase services for automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities.
- Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi-discipline projects

HMI Applications Engineer

We are seeking various levels of HMI/SCADA Applications Engineers from entry level through senior level.

Responsibilities:
- Develop HMI/SCADA applications using industry standard software packages
- Develop data and process screens using in-house graphical images, basic user-interface design principals, and company standards
- Develop SCADA applications under budget while also meeting design specifications and deadlines
- Develop expertise in all features and functionality of products offered
- Develop expertise in SCADA application and network architecture
- Troubleshoot existing SCADA applications and computer and network hardware
- Regional travel to job sites for project startups and service visits
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SCADA and HMI software architectures or experience developing applications from scratch in one or more of the following software: AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA System Platform, GE iFix, IA Ignition (preferably Perspective), Trihedral VTScada, Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE (Site Edition), AVEVA Plant SCADA (Citect)
- VB.NET, C#, or VBA experience
- Knowledge of basic Ethernet networks
- Understanding of basic SQL CRUD queries
- Ability to travel Monday through Friday up to 25-30% of the time
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant software-focused degree
