Job Description:

We are seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist willing to relocate to McDonough, Georgia, for a full-time position. The primary responsibilities include performing vascular diagnostic ultrasound testing of extracranial, peripheral, and visceral vascular systems. This role focuses on venous insufficiency, Deep Venous Testing (Iliac and Pelvic), and assisting in peripheral venous procedures such as endovenous ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena, USG foam sclerotherapy, etc. The technologist will collect data and provide documentation of test results for reading physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Review medical records, obtain patient history, and perform relevant physical exams.
Perform duplex/Doppler exams following established policies and procedures.
Provide preliminary results in electronic medical records and notify referring physicians of significant abnormal findings.
Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment, seeking technical support when necessary.
Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience) and 1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):
Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer (RVT/RVS) Required
Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) - Preferred

Occasional travel between offices, training, and remote locations (compensated for travel time).
Compensation:
$75,000-$130,000 based on experience and capabilities.
Please note: Applicants must be willing to relocate within driving distance to McDonough, Georgia, with an employer-provided relocation package.

The staff vascular sonographer’s primary responsibilities are the performance of high quality vascular ultrasound examinations primarily in outpatient environments according to physician’s orders, utilizing complex ultrasound equipment. Confidently identify, evaluate and document the presence or absence of vascular pathology adhering to the standards established by the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Assist the vascular surgeon in the performance of venous ablations in the OR, as well as other special procedures.  Participate in on going quality assurance and quality improvement processes in addition to required education within the Vascular Lab. Adheres to departmental policies and philosophies to provide customers with the highest quality service. Reports to the labs Technical Director/ Supervisor.
