PUBS 6230 Legal Issues in Public Service: Reviews and assesses the legal framework which forms the foundation for public service administration in the United States today. Examines how the American legal system represents one of the issues which public administrators must deal with daily in their efforts to develop and carry out public policy and manage programs. Enables students to analyze significant issues in public service as they deal with the impact the legal process has on their administrative decisions.

PUBS 6931 Topics in Public Service - Performance Evaluation: This class looks at the use of performance metrics in the management process. Focuses on best practices for establishing metrics as well as the best uses of performance evaluation in decision making, strategic planning, personnel management, and grant reporting.

As part of the Money Path team, the Money Path Delivery Specialist will be responsible for growing the usage of Money Path in Milwaukee County, with a focus on the City of Milwaukee. They will deliver the Money Path program directly to teens in an engaging, inspiring and fun style. In addition, they will conduct the outreach necessary to schedule the programs through partnerships with local high schools and nonprofit.

Grants Director - Community Matters
Bader Philanthropies
Bader Philanthropies seeks a Grants Director to lead its Community Matters (CM) grants area
through a combination of grants, collaborative efforts, and technical support. The Foundation
operates under the principle that grant funds and other assistance can leverage and stimulate
change on the ground level.

The Community Matters grants area has the following strategies:
• Foundations of Wellbeing
Improving the quality of life in the Greater Milwaukee Area by supporting various basic
needs, such as shelter, food, mental health, and employment.
• Collaboratives & Coalitions
Supporting community coalitions and participating in collaborative efforts toward

The Grants Director for Community Matters reports to the Vice President for Grants and will be responsible for championing innovative grant prospects, conducting grant evaluation, maintaining strong partnerships, and offering candid advice and technical assistance, ensuring
the Foundation plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of life in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

Program Supervisor (Full-Time, Flexible Hours, Hybrid Work Option)
Volunteer Fox Cities
VFC connects volunteers & resources to NPO’s & business. The Program Supervisor will oversee and be responsible for two programs 1) Pro Bono Skilled Volunteering is a program that brings the skills and experience of corporate volunteers to benefit nonprofits. 2) Tech Ed for Adults Program focuses on adults 50 & older to teach them to use their electronic devices. Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication & problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, oversee implementation of strategies to develop pro-bono program
• Utilize skilled volunteers to support special projects as needed
• Build & maintain relationships with new and existing nonprofit members & corporate partners who have formal pro bono programs or are interested in utilizing pro bono to grow their organization capacity
• Oversee/supervise all aspects of the Tech Ed program (a good working knowledge of technology is needed, but an IT background is not required)
• Recruit instructors to teach the Tech Ed program
• Promote & market both programs within the community
• Perform background checks on perspective volunteers & instructors
• Supervise volunteers & participants including onboarding, training, feedback, &conflict-resolution
• Create & maintain statistical analysis of the program to create reports, presentations, & proposals
• Assist with research, draft, & submit proposals to secure funding for the program

Schedule: Full-time 32-40 hours per week (hybrid work situation). Flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday or 8:00-noon Friday (we close at noon on Fridays).
Salary Range: $16.75 to $17.75 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
