The Spokane Fire Department (SFD) seeks applicants that are interested in joining a team of dedicated individuals to protect and serve Spokane citizens. SFD is responsible for emergency medical services, fire suppression, mitigating the consequences from disasters, and rescue activities. In addition to emergency work, members provide a wide range of services to the community, including blood pressure screening, tours of fire stations and apparatus, and on-duty fire and life safety presentations within the community.

Anchorage Fire Department Under the direction of the Fire Captain, provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical care services. As an emergency medical technician or paramedic, examine, treat, care for, and transport sick and injured patients. Complete reports and maintain records. Prevent, combat, and extinguish fires. Provide rescue services. Perform apparatus and station maintenance duties. Complete professional training and study programs. Stand-by for emergency response. Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
