Job Requirements

Associate/Sr. Associate Athletics Director – DEI & Student-Athlete Development

The Associate or Senior Associate Athletics Director - DEI and Student-Athlete Development will be responsible for the development and oversight of the DEI Division and the Student-Athlete Development Division within the Department of Athletics. 30% - Leadership Development and Facilitation: Assists in execution of leadership development programming. Is a key facilitator of curriculum, including but not limited to the Tiger Leadership Academy. Works directly with student-athlete participants in the Tiger Leadership Academy.

20% - Career and Professional Development:
Collaborates with other members of Student-Athlete Development staff for career development program implementation. Provides individual career advising to student-athletes. Assists in the development and implementation of new and cutting-edge programs. Facilitates and coordinates professional development opportunities for student-athletes.

15% - Miscellaneous Duties:
Adheres to Clemson purchasing processes and assist in compliance with department budget. Serve multiple teams as the department liaison to build relationships with student-athletes, coaches and staff. Communicates with participants and other stakeholders to promote engagement in programs. Assists with program scheduling. Provides recruiting talks to recruits and families visiting Clemson. Attends and supports additional Student-Athlete Development programs, including but not limited to freshmen programs and leadership initiatives.
