The Associate Director of Athletics for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) will lead the Athletic Department’s efforts to create and maintain a culture of mutual respect and unity and to combat bias based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race and all other identities. Assistant AD for Sports Medicine

The Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer provides professional health care, instruction, prevention, rehabilitation, first aid, injury assessment, treatment, and counseling
for all student athletes. The Assistant Director is also responsible for providing therapy services and treatment planning and program development and patient care enhancement.

Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing and Fan Engagement

This position is directly responsible for oversight of all Army West Point Athletics Association Inc. (“AWPAA”) marketing and promotions plans with an emphasis on creativity, game presentations, as well as community engagement initiatives. This position also assists with growing event attendance and the AWPAA brand both regionally and nationally.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

Estimated Travel Required <20%.
This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.

Associate/Sr. Associate Athletics Director – DEI & Student-Athlete Development
University of New Mexico
The Associate or Senior Associate Athletics Director - DEI and Student-Athlete Development will be responsible for the development and oversight of the DEI Division and the Student-Athlete Development Division within the Department of Athletics. For the DEI Division, the primary focus will be the implementation, growth and oversite of the newly developed DEI vision and strategic initiatives for the department. This includes providing training and workshops, assisting coaches and student-athletes with DEI concerns and developing areas for the student-athletes. The Associate or Senior Associate Athletics Director will have an opportunity to be part of the athletics leadership team and will work closely with University VP for DEI.

For the Student-athlete development division, the overarching goal will be to provide each student-athlete with the skills necessary to achieve success in their personal and professional lives beyond their collegiate athletic experiences. This individual will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing effective leadership, service, professional/career and personal development workshops, events and initiatives for all departmental athletic programs. This includes working with both internal and external partners of the University of New Mexico to promote the comprehensive development of the student-athlete population. This position will provide oversight for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and other activities which reflect the enhancing the student-athlete experience and overall welfare.

The Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance oversees and coordinates a comprehensive compliance program that meets the NCAA, and Mountain West Conference legislation, policies and procedures. The Assistant AD Manages and oversees all functions including, but not limited to, eligibility, financial aid, rules interpretations, recruiting activities and education. 15% - Miscellaneous Duties:
Adheres to Clemson purchasing processes and assist in compliance with department budget. Serve multiple teams as the department liaison to build relationships with student-athletes, coaches and staff. Communicates with participants and other stakeholders to promote engagement in programs. Assists with program scheduling. Provides recruiting talks to recruits and families visiting Clemson. Attends and supports additional Student-Athlete Development programs, including but not limited to freshmen programs and leadership initiatives.
