Certification Specialist
JOB PURPOSE: The Certification Specialist provides oversight and support for the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Program and related programs and services.


• Acts as first point of contact for the CAP Program by responding to all customer inquiries and requests via email, phone, etc. maintaining a 48-hour response rate for all inquiries.
• Review and process applications & purchases, such as certification, recertification, verification of certification, and Practice Exams
• Act as liaison for the Certification Administration Committee, answering questions and managing administrative tasks
• Oversee and manage the Job Task Analysis project every 5 years
• Oversee and manage accreditation requirements, including the annual report and re-accreditation process
• Oversee and manage Item Writing Workshops as needed
• Manage communications w/both CAP de signees and CAP candidates per set schedule
• Work with executive staff to identify new innovative ways to market current programs and expand offerings to new audiences
• Work with executive staff to develop new certifications to meet the growing needs of the profession
• Ensure all website content relating to CAP Program is up-to-date and accurate. Request site updates through the appropriate channels.
• Performs other duties and assignments as needed to support education, CAP Program, or the association.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following education, experience, competencies, and language skills:

• Associates or higher
• ICE-CCP designation preferred

• Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic computer proficiency with Word, Access, Outlook, CRM.
• Minimum of one year related training and/or experience required.

• Must exhibit initiative, able to use good judgment, problem-solving skills and take appropriate action.

Marketing/Social Media Assistant

My organization is currently looking for a second Marketing/Social Media Assistant to help us out.

The Marketing/Social Media Assistant will be responsible for posting regularly to our social media accounts. ADCU currently has an Instagram, FaceBook, and Twitter account. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with inquiries from other accounts in our DMs, and analyzing social media traffic in order to determine the best times to post. You will also be responsible for keeping a spreadsheet with monthly insights from our social medial. You will also be responsible for keeping in close contact with our Artist Outreach Coordinator to determine things like Artist of the Week, or monthly artist highlights.

Position is remote and hours are flexible, but I am looking for consistent posting.

*Note: This is position is currently an UNPAID volunteer opportunity but there will be chance to move into a paid position, we are just dependent on getting funding as we aren't a corporate company and are trying to move ourselves into nonprofit 501(c)3 status.
