Gender-Adult Affirming Medicine will provide leadership and coordination for the development and implementation of health care for our transgender and gender-diverse patients. Duties include direct clinic and administrative service and programmatic and oversight duties. Clinically, this position provides direct trans-related medical care, as well as primary care to trans and gender-diverse patients. Non-clinical duties include working across CBHC departments to establish effective access to services, establishing best medical practices for hormone treatment, providing ongoing medical provider training, providing quality-control/chart review for gender-affirming care, and collaborating with LHEC staff to develop and maintain gender-affirming community relationships.
