In this role, you will be responsible for income growth in support of WRAP Americas’ impact strategy. You will identify and pursue relevant funding opportunities from corporations, individual philanthropists, foundations, and government agencies based in the Americas, particularly in the USA. You will develop relationships with potential funders, build partnerships that can deliver funder needs, write compelling proposals and deliver the income targets for the role by targeting organizations that fund work related to WRAP Americas strategy. You’ll be a key part of the newly forming WRAP Americas team, working particularly closely with the Executive Director, and the International & Strategic Engagement teams in the UK.

Executive Team Assistant

In this role, you will be responsible for the set up and management of the WRAP Americas localized business administrative functions, including building an effective office management provision (virtual or physical), overseeing staff & program administration (basic HR, office support, team coordination), and providing Executive support to the ED. Currently WRAP Americas does not have a fixed office location, but as we grow we’re looking for a talented, well organized, self-determining individual to manage the ‘back office’ operations as we grow across the Americas region. At WRAP, our team is driven by our mission, and you will be a key player in enabling the delivery of our work.

Head of Product Circularity Standards

In this newly created role, you will take ownership of this major, and potentially far-reaching initiative at WRAP, to build a new International Circularity Standards Programme.
Assuming responsibility for the programme, you will be accountable for the strategic development and delivery of the international Circularity Standards Programme, ensuring its contribution to the overall strategic direction and performance of WRAP, including meeting the anticipated income, expenditure and impact targets. We’re looking for a proven leader in international standards creation and programme delivery, for which an interest in the field of sustainability or the circular economy is an advantage, but not an essential requirement, given the team of experts we already have in WRAP.

Officer, Preventing Ocean Plastics

The officer, preventing ocean plastics, will serve as a subject matter expert, focused on ensuring the policy positions advanced by the plastics team are based on the best available information. This position will focus on bridging the technical analyses conducted by the team with policy development and collaborate with team members across all six workstreams, which span modeling and scenario analyses to metrics development to policy advocacy. This position will also advise on the best approaches for multilateral policies and assist in developing and implementing strategies to deliver those policies.

NCEL Environmental Health Manager

The Environmental Health Program Manager leads NCEL’s state policy work on environmental health issues. The position provides strategic direction and management of NCEL’s environmental health program that encompasses the following projects: zero waste and plastic reduction, toxic chemical prevention, cumulative impacts, and sustainable agriculture and water systems. This role centers environmental justice and racial equity promotion, as well as the impacts of the climate crisis, across projects.
