Volunteer Program Coordinator - 2 Positions Open
Omaha Better Birth Project
Omaha Better Birth Project is searching for one or two individuals who can assist with the oversight and administration of our Fresh Start Diaper Program. This program provides Omaha families in-need with supplemental diapers and wipes each month.

Currently, our diaper distribution days are the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am-12pm (9:30-12:30 for setup/teardown) and the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5pm-7pm (4:30-7:30 for setup/teardown). The location is in South Omaha around 30th & L St. Details on the location will be provided to approved volunteers.

Ability to regularly attend one or both diaper distribution dates is required. Training will be provided. This is a volunteer position.

We anticipate this volunteer position to require a commitment of approximately 10 hours per month.

Here is a breakdown of the estimated time commitment:

Administration - approximately 4 hours per month - includes weekly program application review, program participant communications/reminders, and diaper ordering/pickup from the Nebraska Diaper Bank.

Program Service - approximately 6 hours per month - includes setup, diaper wrapping, diaper distribution, and tear down for both distribution days.
