Director of Research and Evaluation
Callisto
The nonprofit Callisto is looking for our new Director of Research and Evaluation. It’s kind of the best job ever. You will create the strategy and lead the execution of how Callisto evaluates our impact and the performance of our team to drive that impact. You will also conduct formative research to ensure we are always double-checking our core assumptions. You will partner with outside researchers to ensure third-party evaluations of Callisto and help ensure that what we learn is helping inform the broader field of sexual assault prevention and response. You’re skilled in everything from survey design and analysis, to running focus groups and interviews, to analyzing large datasets and adjusting for possible confounders. You either have experience with analyzing data gathered from technology products or you’re eager to learn. You’ll help drive what data is collected electronically from our users, who has access to those data, and how to balance our team’s desire for measurement and evaluation with the privacy needs for sexual assault and harassment victims.

We’re especially interested in candidates that have a PhD in Epidemiology + experience in tech company data science. But we’re hiring for the core competencies you have, not necessarily what’s on your resume.
