This Office of Economic and Small Business Development will welcome over 300 businesses, in all phases of the business cycle, to the Signature Grand for the 2017 Broward and Beyond Business Conference.  This year the program provides a three-pronged targeted approach, with continued collaboration with county agencies and community partners. Featured educational content will be broken into three categories: Start Up, Growth, and Nonprofit tracks.  The Start-Up track will feature six educational sessions; the Growth and Nonprofit tracks will each feature four sessions.

Over 30 Industry Experts will engage all attendees during Roundtable Discussions with topics to include:

•    Traditional, non-traditional and alternative funding and resources
•    Proposal writing (for-profit/nonprofit)
•    Social media
•    Business analytics/consulting
•    Succession planning
•    Mentorship resources
•    Meet the prime (public & private sector)
•    Bonding providers
•    Nonprofit resources
•    Grant writers/Compliance officers (nonprofit)
•    Doing business with the world: Exporting resources & opportunities (Up to 15 countries)

The conference creates a space where attendees can learn from industry experts, connect and share ideas, and learn new strategies to face everyday challenges with innovative solutions. In summary, attendees will enjoy:
•    14+ hours of education across three tracks
•    5 hours of roundtable discussions and networking
•    A hearty lunch during the keynote address with a dynamic speaker
•    Bonus post-conference presentations
•    Real time session surveys via a mobile app
