The 2021 IEEE Wireless Power Week (WPW) will be held as a virtual event on June 1-4 2021, and will feature the IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference
(WPTC), the IEEE Workshop on Emerging Technologies: Wireless Power
(WoW), and the Wireless Power Transfer School. WPW is the largest wireless power event in the world, financially co-sponsored by IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and Power Electronics Society (PELS). WPW is technically co-sponsored by MTT-S, PELS, and Antenna Propagation Society (APS). The Wireless Power Transfer School is supported by the IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Project
Virtual event format and schedule:
- WPT School: On-demand presentations available starting May 18. Live (synchronous) Panel Q&A with speakers on June 1.
- 9 Keynote Sessions and 9 Technical Sessions on June 2-4, with three sessions on each day. Keynote presentations will be live (synchronous). Technical paper full presentations will be available on-demand starting May 18. During the Live Technical Session on June 2-4, summary slides will first be presented by authors of the papers in the session before live Q&A with the audience.
- An Opening Session will kick off the sessions on June 2 and a Closing Ceremony will present the awards and conclude this year's WPW virtual event on June 4.
