The National Youth Annual Forum brings together hundreds policymakers, practitioners and young leaders for a virtual convening that emphasizes recovery, mobilization and strategy during this time of COVID-19, economic downturn and social unrest.
For 40 more than years, the National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC) has worked toward an America in which all young people are supported and prepared to become thriving members of our economy and society, regardless of their race, gender, ability, geography, or means. Since our inception, we have strengthened hundreds of youth-serving organizations and influenced dozens of pieces of federal legislation related to disadvantaged youth. We bring together more than 75 organizations, which reach hundreds of thousands of young people annually, that focus on empowering young people to transition to postsecondary education and employment.
2020 has been a year like no other. We hope that this convening will be a time of learning, fellowship, healing, and reflection, especially as we look towards 2021. Please take time to utilize the directory to get to know new folks from across the country, reach out to youth leaders to help them build their ideas presented during our “Action Hour,” and consider joining the growing NYEC network!
