The third edition of Portugal Mobi Summit (PMS2020) returns this year with the ambition to take the largest Portuguese event dedicated to urban mobility across borders. After the success of the two previous editions, Global Media Group and EDP, in partnership with Via Verde, Volkswagen, CEiiA, and the Municipal Council of Cascais, present the third edition of Portugal Mobi Summit with a schedule made of exclusively online events during phase 1, until september, along with the publication of content on Global Media Group’s different platforms and brands – four panel discussions, three interactive webinars, and several interviews with renowned international specialists in the fields of mobility, energy transition, digital transition, and urban planning.

In October, the big event will present highly renowned speakers, both in the national and international scenes, and will take place in livestreaming, under a protocol signed between Global Media Group and the Municipal Council of Cascais from 2019 through 2021.

Taking place between 8 and 11 October 2020, with a focus on “Mobility in a Changing World”, the grand summit will discuss themes such as changes in mobility in the post-pandemic scenario, question the extent to which the covid-19 crisis fostered an energy transition and a smart, electric mobility, learn if digital is the new mobility, and approach themes such as 5G, IoT and Smart Cities or urban planning and micro-mobility.

To do so, the summit will showcase prominent figures in European public policy-making, from public transport to the environment, without forgetting EC funds and the automotive industry.

PMS 2020 presents itself this year as one of the top international events for debating sustainable mobility. It has the High Sponsorship of the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

PMS 2020 is a joint initiative of Global Media Group and EDP, in partnership with Via Verde, Volkswagen, CEiiA, and the Municipal Council of Cascais, where Global Media Group’s main media outlets Diário de Notícias, Dinheiro Vivo, Jornal de Notícias, Motor 24, and TSF will develop content on the themes on the agenda throughout the project.
