UNC Charlotte 2019 Cybersecurity Symposium

Cybersecurity is a top-of-mind concern for businesses of all sizes. This symposium will continue our tradition of bringing world class speakers to discuss cutting edge security issues and best practices for businesses to mitigate security risks. 

 

The symposium is a major part of UNC Charlotte’s community outreach effort as a National Center of Academic Excellence for Information Assurance Education and Research. Its intended audience include (1) cybersecurity professionals (2) faculty and students at UNC Charlotte and (3) people interested cybersecurity and public policy. We bring leaders of cybersecurity to this event to share best practices, identifying future trends as well as research with promising applications. The symposium also seeks to provide a opportunity The symposium’s program committee consist so of academic researchers as well as industry leaders in the cybersecurity field.  For industry professionals, the symposium fulfills part of their continuing education requirements for professional certification. For UNC Charlotte faculty and students, the symposium offers an opportunity to learn latest best practices from the industry.
