Vanguard Security & Compliance 2019 brings together global cybersecurity leaders from private industry, government agencies, and Vanguard Integrity Professional experts to deliver the most complete knowledge-based training for securing and defending networks, distributed systems, and IBM System z®. This event, which offers the most advanced cybersecurity training available in the marketplace today, is ideal for information security and compliance professionals from public and private sectors.

This premier gathering of enterprise security experts will deliver the most current information through skillful instruction on cybersecurity threats, protection strategies, system configuration, and compliance in a proven format structured to provide the highest quality learning experience. This intense curriculum offers five educational tracks with more than fifty sessions over four days. Through a series of focused workshops and hands-on labs, attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 21 CPE credits.

_______

The Basic Administration track (BAS) provides RACF training for security administrators, auditors and systems programmers new to RACF. This track starts with a Mainframe Computing Boot Camp and goes through Group, User, Dataset, and General Resource profile administration. Also covered is RACF logging and reporting. The hands-on labs that reinforce the concepts presented during the breakout sessions are perhaps the most powerful aspect of this track.

The Beyond the Basics track (BTB) includes classes related to RACF security. It is recommended that attendees of this track have completed the RACF Basic Administration track and have a couple years of RACF administration experience. Classes will include advanced RACF topics on SETROPTS, JES2, Database Utilities, USS, DB2 and SDF.

Maintaining access, authority, provisioning and entitlements on the mainframe is a critical need that doesn't have to be difficult. The Enterprise Security Managers track (MSM) features the big 3 tools - ACF2, top Secret, and RACF./

Be knowledgeable of the evolving information security field and how it impacts you in your role as a security professional. The Compliance, Audit & Security track (CAS) addresses a variety of hot topics and is designed for anyone who desires education on defending one of the most important assets in the organization for z/OS, RACF, ACF2 and Top Secret.

The Crypto & More track (CCM) will cover the basics of encryption, master key management, digital certificates and more! It will also feature labs on encryption.
