(“Whova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and other similar technologies to recognise you when you visit and use Whova Website and Applications(“Online Applications”) It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

What are cookies and Web Beacons?

Why do we use cookies?

Whova uses first- and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Online Applications to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies enable us to better understand your use of our Online Applications, to track and better serve the interests of Whova Users, and to improve the experience of Users on Whova’s Online Applications. None of this information can be used to identify you. Their sole purpose is to improve Whova Online Applications and Websites functions. This includes cookies from third-party analytics services as long as the cookies are for the exclusive use of the owner of the website visited.

Duration of cookies stored on your device

Cookies are either “temporary” or “persistent” in duration.

Temporary cookies

We use temporary cookies on our Online Applications and Websites to allow you to browse our Online Applications and Websites without interruption.
