Whova AI Terms

These Whova AI Terms govern all access to and use of any artificial intelligence or machine learning features, assistants, agents, recommendations, automations, generated content, or other AI-powered functionality made available by Whova (collectively, “Whova AI”).. By accessing or using Whova AI, you agree to these terms in addition to Whova’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable customer agreements, and any other applicable policies. If there is a conflict between these terms and an applicable customer agreement, the customer agreement will govern.

1. Accuracy of Responses

Whova AI uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and other AI-generated content or recommendations. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, incorrect, inconsistent, misleading, offensive, biased, or otherwise inappropriate or unexpected.

Whova does not guarantee that any response or output generated by Whova AI is accurate, complete, reliable, current, available or suitable for any particular purpose.

Responses may vary over time, including in response to similar questions.

2. Your Responsibility

You acknowledge that Whova AI may generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect responses or outputs.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and determining whether to rely on information provided by Whova AI, and Whova shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or other consequences arising from your use of or reliance on such information.

You are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, configurations, communications, or outcomes resulting from your use of or reliance on Whova AI.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to submit any prompts, files, data, or other content to Whova AI, and that doing so does not violate any law, agreement, privacy obligation, or the rights of any third party.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information, content, or data you submit to Whova AI may lawfully be disclosed and processed for your intended use.

3. No Professional Advice

Whova AI responses are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, financial, security, compliance, employment, or other professional advice.

Whova AI responses do not constitute official statements, representations, commitments, approvals, authorizations, or promises made by Whova. No statement generated by Whova AI shall be construed as a waiver of any rights, obligations, restrictions, or remedies available to Whova under any agreement.

You acknowledge that Whova AI responses should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

4. No Contractual Effect or Product Commitments

Whova AI responses do not create, modify, waive, interpret, supersede, or override any contract, Terms of Service, pricing, fees, subscription, refund, credit, discount, promotion, support commitment, warranty, service-level agreement, feature availability, roadmap commitment, product guarantee, or other obligation of Whova.

If any response generated by Whova AI conflicts with Whova’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, published documentation, pricing, policies, customer agreement, or written communications from an authorized Whova representative, those official sources shall control.

Only written agreements executed by Whova and communications from authorized Whova representatives may create such obligations.

5. Conversation Review and Feedback

You acknowledge that to provide support, maintain service quality, improve Whova AI, investigate issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations, Whova may store, review, analyze, and process conversations, uploaded content, prompts, conversations, feedback submissions, attachments, related metadata, feedback submissions, and related metadata in accordance with its Privacy Policy, including through automated and human review processes.

You acknowledge that if a conversation is transferred to Whova Support, conversation history may be shared with authorized support personnel to continue assisting you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Whova AI in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Submit content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, accounts, or services.
  • Circumvent safeguards, security controls, or usage restrictions.
  • use Whova AI or any AI-generated responses or outputs to develop, train, benchmark, evaluate, improve, document, market, or support any competing product or service, or to create datasets, documentation, or other materials for such purposes.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, benchmark, evaluate, discover, reproduce, disclose, or manipulate confidential system instructions, system architecture, prompts, datasets, safeguards, or proprietary information.
  • Use Whova AI to generate unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, privacy-violating, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious content.
  • Scrape or build datasets from Whova AI outputs.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to systematically collect Whova AI responses.
  • Copy, reproduce, publish, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit Whova AI outputs containing Whova’s confidential, proprietary, or non-public information.
  • Attempt to discover or infer Whova’s knowledge base, retrieval mechanisms, proprietary documentation, model behavior, or internal system architecture.
  • Use prompt injection, jailbreak techniques, or similar methods intended to bypass safeguards or manipulate Whova AI.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or misuse, or compromise Whova AI or related services.
  • Disclose any confidential, proprietary, or non-public information provided by Whova AI to any third party, including Whova competitors.
  • If Whova AI discloses information that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential, proprietary, or non-public, you agree not to further disclose such information and to promptly notify Whova.
  • Use Whova AI in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade laws.

7. Availability and Changes

Whova may modify, limit, suspend, discontinue, or change Whova AI or any part of its functionality at any time, with or without notice. 

You should not rely on the continued availability of Whova AI or any particular feature, capability, model, response format, workflow, or functionality.

Whova makes no commitment regarding the availability, functionality, performance, or future development of Whova AI.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

WHOVA AI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHOVA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR SECURITY.

WHOVA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT WHOVA AI WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL CONTENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHOVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON WHOVA AI.

WHOVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, COSTS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTIONS, LOST REVENUE, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, EVENT ISSUES, ATTENDEE IMPACTS, OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY WHOVA AI.

10. Updates to These Terms

Whova may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Whova AI after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
