NAWBO Events 2014 - Case Study


The NAWBO represents more than 10 million women who owns business and provide these entrepreneur women with a community, resources, and a unified voice of influence in the industry. The yearly NAWBO Women’s Business Conference (WBC) gathers hundreds of women entrepreneurs and business owners to grow, learn, and network with one another.

Organizers for this event provided a plethora for attendees on the Logistics section regarding various information on Indianapolis. Within the app, Women’s Business Conference (WBC) attendees had access to local attractions, lodging information, and a list of all the sponsors for the conference. In fact, it is the placement of sponsor logos within the app itself that made.

WBC sponsors were willing to pay for the entire event platform, thus sparing WBC organizers any costs. During the conference, many attendees also signed up to join the WBC discussion group, which would then allow them to communicate as a larger community of women entrepreneurs and share things with each other even after the event.

From the 530 attendees present, there was a total of 10,538 in-app actions, around 51% of which were actions with the networking features. Many WBC attendees actively engaged the app, liking the app, checking in to different sessions, and uploading photos to the Slide/Album feature.
