One attendee told our volunteer that there was a bag under a table in the dining hall. We thought someone may have forgotten it there. Since the attendees are all spread into different rooms for their sessions, it’s hard to find the person.
So we tried to send an announcement in the Whova app. Also, we took a photo of the bag and post it to the event discussion board. The message reached to everyone in no time, and after a couple of minutes the person found us and took the bag.
Without any doubt that this app helped us a lot. Lost & Found has always been my headache in the previous events I organized, and this little app solved the problem perfectly. Remember the announcement and the discussion board if you also see this problem.
