Product Data Specialist
(full-time)
Whova is looking for a full-time Product Data Specialist to join our data team! In this role. you’ll analyze product usage and conduct in-depth feature use case studies to provide insights that will help us improve our product. As a Product Data Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers and our data analysts.
Whova revolutionizes event engagement and attendee networking by providing the Whova mobile app and event management software for conferences and trade shows globally every day.

- Design and conduct studies on product features to understand how users engage with them
- Analyze large quantities of user data (both structured and unstructured) and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Synthesize findings into clear visualizations and concise reports to present to stakeholders
- Provide actionable insights that can help inform product decisions, and work closely with data and product teams to identify opportunities for new features and/or enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Cognitive Science, Engineering or another data~/research-centric field or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with spreadsheet editors such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling and presentation skills
- Strong research, analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and a “can-do” mindset!
- Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus but not required
- Salary: $50k – $55k per year (based on experience)
