Whova’s Post-Event Report has become a favorite tool for many organizers because it saves hours of manual reporting work while making it easy to showcase event success.

Instead of pulling data from multiple places and building reports from scratch, organizers can quickly access a polished, stakeholder-ready report filled with attendee demographics and engagement analytics, session insights, sponsor and exhibitor performance, registration data, and more.

Many organizers use statistics and visuals from the Post-Event Report directly in their internal presentations, board reports, press releases, and event recap briefs. Others use the report in sponsor and exhibitor follow-ups to demonstrate ROI, strengthen relationships, increase satisfaction, and help drive renewals for future events.

One customer shared:

“Whova does a wonderful job of putting together a Post-Event Report and the first year after we used it, we got so much feedback on how much interactions these [sponsor] banners were getting, the links were getting, and the sponsors and their booths were getting…we shared this with our sponsors and they absolutely loved that.”

-Ambreen Maan, former Program Manager at the American Brain Tumor Association

Organizers also use Attendee Analytics and Registration Form Analytics to track specific attendee behavior and registration details. Cross-Event Reports help you compare insights across events, and AI-Generated Summaries give you a polished, ready-to-go post-event recap.

To help us improve the platform, you’ll be asked to complete a short feedback survey before accessing the Post-Event Report. However, many returning organizers told us that repeatedly re-ranking the same features across every event felt unnecessary.

In response to that feedback, we’ve simplified the survey experience for returning admins and let returning organizers access Post-Event Reports faster. Instead of re-evaluating every feature each time, returning organizers can now complete a much shorter survey to get the Post-Event Report.

This update helps organizers:

  • Access reports and event insights sooner
  • Spend less time answering repetitive survey questions
  • Share sponsor and exhibitor ROI faster after the event
  • Move more quickly into post-event analysis and planning
  • Continue improving future events with clearer data and insights

At the same time, detailed feature feedback from new admins and first-time Whova organizers remains incredibly valuable. Their input helps us better understand which features provide the most value, identify areas for improvement, and prioritize future product enhancements that matter most to organizers.

Whova’s Post-Event Report already helps organizers turn raw event data into polished, shareable results. Now, returning organizers can get to those insights even faster with a more streamlined experience.

Returning Organizers Now Access Post-Event Reports Even Faster

Returning Admins Access Post Event Reports Faster

Once your event is over, it’s time to review everything you accomplished.

To get started, simply head to the Tools tab, find the Report section, and request your Post-Event Report. Whova then prepares the report, which is typically ready within a few days.

Before accessing the report, organizers are asked to complete a short survey about their event experience. Questions include feedback about customer support and platform satisfaction.

For organizers new to Whova, the survey also includes a detailed question asking them to rank the usefulness of various Whova features. This feedback helps us better understand which tools provide the most value.

To improve the experience for returning organizers, Whova now shows the feature evaluation question only to new admins, shortening the survey for repeat customers.

The update directly impacts how quickly returning organizers can begin demonstrating ROI, measuring engagement, and planning future improvements.

The Report Presents Polished Event Data

Whova’s Post-Event Report delivers 60+ pages of organized, professional analytics designed to help organizers understand and demonstrate event performance from multiple angles.

You can easily view and download individual report sections such as:

  • Attendee engagement
  • Event networking and distribution
  • Event registration
  • Event marketing
  • Event management
  • Sponsors and exhibitors
  • Event logistics

Stats on sponsors, exhibitors, and engagement.

View high level statistics such as total sponsor impressions, exhibitor leads, and attendee profile views.

The report helps you share professional-level reports with your stakeholders—without all the time and manual work spent on gathering screenshots, spreadsheets, and data points. Use this feature to communicate event value more effectively while saving substantial administrative effort.

Sponsor impressions and stats

View detailed statistics such as individual sponsor impressions.

For example, organizers can use the Post Event Report to:

  • Share exhibitor and sponsor ROI reports including stats on booth traffic, lead generation, and sponsor banner impressions
  • Present session popularity and engagement data to conference committees when planning future programming
  • Demonstrate member involvement and event impact with analytics on networking activity (e.g., business cards scanned) and app engagement (e.g., session feedback).
  • Analyze ticket sales and registration behavior to improve future pricing strategies and promotional timelines

In our Experts of Whova panel series, many experienced organizers discuss how they rely on Post-Event Reports to evaluate success and guide future event planning. These sessions can be found in the Whova dashboard in the left menu’s Tutorials and Guides section (available in any tab) under Organizer Tips.

For example, in “10 Lessons from Whova Veterans,” Dr. Len Tau highlights the value of attendee engagement reporting:

“The engagement report is the most valuable for me. It shows which sessions were most popular, which announcements people were reading and engaged with, and how the attendees participated, which attendees participated. I also look at exhibitor engagement.”

– Dr. Len Tau, General Manager of Dental Vertical at BirdEye

In the same session, Coree Cooper explains how registration analytics help shape future ticketing decisions for her team:

“We have tiered registration. So there’s Early Bird, then there’s the next tier, then there’s the next tier. [Reviewing registration data] always gives me a good way of figuring out which price point most of my attendees registered at. So that way we can shift the timeline a little bit or extend the timeline of that ticket period for the next time to maximize income from registration.”

– Coree Cooper, Executive Administrative Director at the School & Sports Photographers Annual Conference

Meanwhile, in “The path to generating 11,000 leads for exhibitors and 3.3M impressions for sponsors,” Tigre Hammond discusses how sponsor analytics help demonstrate measurable value to future partners:

“It’s also really cool in the post event report to see the final statistics regarding the sponsorship impressions. I think ours was like, close to 400,000, or something, which seems like a lot. I think that’s such a great tool to use in the future as well, when you’re soliciting sponsorships.”

– Tigre Hammond, Member Relations Specialist at Virginia Asphalt Association

New Admins’ Feedback Remains Important

While returning organizers now skip the feature-ranking section, Whova still values this feedback from new admins.

For first-time organizers, understanding which features delivered the most value helps our team identify what’s working well, where organizers need more support, and which tools should continue evolving. We carefully review your feedback from every event, and those insights have directly shaped product improvements and organizer-focused updates over time.

By limiting the longer evaluation questions to new admins, we continue gathering meaningful product insights while creating a more convenient experience for experienced organizers.

A Smoother Reporting Experience for Returning Organizers

By shortening the survey experience for returning admins, we’ve made it faster and easier to access the insights that matter most. Spend less time clicking through repetitive questions and more time analyzing attendee engagement, demonstrating stakeholder ROI, refining ticketing strategies, and planning even stronger events in the future.

Whether you’re sharing sponsor impression metrics, reviewing attendee networking activity, or ensuring next year’s agenda is packed with popular topics, Whova’s Post-Event Report helps turn event data into actionable insights.
