One of Whova’s biggest features is the networking feature. Because of this, organizers need to upload an attendee list so that our SmartProfile technology can create all of the attendees profiles. This allows attendees to network with other attendees more efficiently. Event attendees who have not downloaded the app will still be able to network with other attendees who send them a message through the app, because it sends them an email as well. If you do not wish to utilize the networking portion of the app you can contact support@whova.comand ask for their assistance in taking down the attendee list feature.
