Director, Reprographics & Mail Services, California State University-Sacramento
Bio: I am passionate about print & design! I have 32 years of experience with both, and the past eight years, have added USPS mail to my scope of knowledge and responsibilities. I love being part of the solutions that meet my clients needs. Print, design and mail are constantly changing. Each day brings new challenges and the opportunity to learn something new.
I've made it a priority to build relationships with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and community colleagues. These relationships help me to not only keep current with technology and trends, but also enable me to build a successful team to accomplish a variety of goals.
One of my passions has been building a program within Reprographics that enables design students to print their projects on campus and take an active role in the printing process. It's been a joy to see that program expand to several classes and play a role in the success of our students. I had the pleasure of joining the graphic design faculty at CSU, Sacramento in the Fall of 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed teaching the print production class for 4 years. I continue to guest lecture in a variety of classes because I enjoy sharing my passion for print with students in addition to enabling them to build positive relationships with printers as their careers progress.
I'm blessed to have a career that challenges me and colleagues that I can call friends.
